To support bulk processing of small and medium-sized components, EVESS® has developed a dedicated range of bell plating tanks designed for efficient, high-throughput surface treatment operations.
The bell plating tank consists of a rectangular plastic process container, structurally reinforced with perimeter bands. A rotating bell unit is mounted on the upper rim of the tank, made of chemically resistant plastic and featuring perforated side panels to allow free flow of the electrolyte through the plating zone. The size of the perforation is customized according to the type and size of the parts being processed.
Inside the bell, a flexible cathode is integrated to ensure even current distribution and high-quality deposition on all components.
EVESS® Bell Plating Tanks for Bulk Parts Processing
Loading of parts is carried out via a dedicated feed chute positioned near the bell opening at the top of the unit. After plating, the bell lifts automatically, and the finished parts discharge into a double-bottom collection basket, which captures excess electrolyte and minimizes drag-out losses.
To ensure ergonomic operation, the main controls for bell rotation and rectifier adjustment are mounted directly on the tank body.
The system supports batch weights of up to 25 kg per cycle and is ideal for plating small parts in bulk where consistent coating quality and process reliability are required.
Additionally, EVESS® offers barrel plating units for bulk processing, available in various sizes and designs tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
