EVESS Manufacturing LLC (“EVESS”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Policy applies to personal data collected through www.evess.ae (the “Website”) and in connection with the enquiries, quotations and business communications that arise from it. Please read it carefully. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not submit personal data through the Website.
1.Who we are
EVESS Manufacturing LLC is a manufacturer of industrial equipment, including electroplating and galvanizing lines, industrial wastewater and water treatment systems, industrial ventilation and gas-scrubber systems, PP/PVC/PVDF tanks and process automation. For the purposes of the PDPL, EVESS acts as the Controller of the personal data processed through this Website — meaning we determine the purposes and means of that processing.
Our contact details are set out in section 16 (“How to contact us”).
2.Scope and legal framework
This Policy is prepared in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”) and its implementing decisions, as supplemented from time to time, together with other applicable UAE laws relating to consumer protection, electronic transactions and cybercrime. Where we process personal data of individuals located in other jurisdictions, we also aim to align with internationally recognised data-protection principles such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This Policy covers personal data processed through the Website only. It does not cover the websites or services of any third parties to which we may link.

4.Personal data we collect
We practise data minimisation — we only collect data that we genuinely need. Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
a) Data you provide directly
- Identity and contact details you submit through our enquiry or quotation forms — typically your name, company, email address and telephone number.
- The content of your message, including details of the project, equipment or technical requirements you describe.
- Any further information you choose to share with us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or other correspondence.
b) Data collected automatically
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and version, device and operating-system information, and the pages you view.
- Usage data about how you navigate and interact with the Website, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 7).
We do not seek to collect special-category (sensitive) data through this Website. Please do not submit such data to us unless we have specifically requested it and explained why.
5.How and why we use your data
We use personal data only for clear, legitimate purposes, including to:
- respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations, proposals and technical documentation;
- communicate with you about projects, orders, deliveries and after-sales support;
- manage our commercial relationship, including contracts, invoicing and record-keeping;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the Website and our services;
- send you, where you have agreed or where lawfully permitted, relevant information about our products and services (you can opt out at any time);
- comply with our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims and protect our rights and the rights of others.
6.Lawful basis for processing
Under the PDPL, processing of personal data generally requires your consent, unless another lawful basis applies. We rely on one or more of the following:
| Basis | When we rely on it |
|---|---|
| Consent | When you voluntarily submit an enquiry form or agree to receive marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time. |
| Performance of a contract | When processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you or your organisation. |
| Legal obligation | When we must process data to comply with applicable UAE law or regulatory requirements. |
| Protecting legitimate interests / rights | When necessary to operate and secure our business, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, in a way that does not override your rights. |
Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (see section 12).
7.Cookies and analytics
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Website to function and do not need your consent. Analytics and performance cookies, which help us understand how the Website is used, are only set where permitted, and where consent is required we ask for it before placing them.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie banner on the Website. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the Website works. For more detail, please see our separate Cookie Policy.
8.Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with:
- Service providers (processors) who help us run the Website and our business — such as hosting, IT, communications, analytics and professional advisers — under agreements that require them to protect your data and use it only on our instructions;
- Affiliates and group entities, where relevant to handling your enquiry or fulfilling a contract;
- Authorities, regulators or law-enforcement bodies, where we are legally required to do so or to protect our legal rights; and
- a successor entity in the event of a reorganisation, merger or transfer of our business, subject to this Policy.
9.International data transfers
EVESS operates internationally. Your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries outside the UAE, including jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from those of the UAE. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we do so in accordance with the PDPL’s requirements and take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection — for example, transferring only to jurisdictions with adequate protection or putting appropriate safeguards (such as contractual commitments) in place.
10.Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet our commercial, legal, accounting and reporting obligations. Enquiry and contract-related data is generally retained for the duration of our relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards in line with applicable UAE record-keeping and limitation requirements. When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymise it.
11.How we protect your data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. These include access controls, secure hosting, encryption where appropriate, and internal policies governing how our staff and service providers handle data. While no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, we continually work to safeguard your information and, where a data breach occurs that poses a risk to your rights, we will act in line with our obligations under the PDPL, including notifying the relevant authority and, where required, affected individuals.
12.Your rights
Subject to the conditions and exceptions set out in the PDPL, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Right to be informed & to access | To know whether we process your data, and to obtain a copy of it and information about how it is used. |
| Right to rectification | To have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed. |
| Right to erasure | To request deletion of your data where there is no lawful reason for us to keep it. |
| Right to restrict / stop processing | To ask us to limit or stop processing your data in certain circumstances. |
| Right to data portability | To receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and, where feasible, have it transferred to another controller. |
| Right to object | To object to processing for direct marketing, or to certain processing based on automated decision-making or profiling. |
| Right to withdraw consent | To withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent. |
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 16. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first. If you believe your data has not been handled in line with the PDPL, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office, the federal data-protection authority.
13.Children’s data
The Website is intended for businesses and professional audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
14.Third-party links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins or services. Clicking those links may allow third parties to collect data about you. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.
